I DO NOT RETIRE, I’M JUST RETIRED.

It is common to hear the phrase “I do not retire, I’m just retiring.” However, when I attended the farewell activity as a worker of the companion Danilo Lambarri Perez, I was struck by the fact that this time the famous prayer was not said, but that many commitments appeared that now correspond to continue the work that this man of medium height, but with the soul of a giant, he began at the EPEP Center 22 years ago of the 45 that he has in his career.
Danilo, traveled every day from the Municipality of Union de Reyes, where he lives, to the company to contribute his talent as Workshop A Mechanic in tool machines and grow to different situations, that any Cuban is already common by the lack of pieces. It is worth repeating what I heard from some of his friends and coworkers at his farewell party: “he is a school personified in his branch”.
In the Machining Workshop of the company his 32 colleagues contributed to this tribute to Danilo, who proudly received political, moral and material stimuli, which caused him to escape a few tears for the nostalgia that embraced him at that moment.
This simple person, who has fulfilled his mission in the oil sector, will always take as gratitude his contributions and the result of his daily work and the example he leaves to his followers.
